China completed the world's widest underwater roadway, the Jinan Huanggang Road tunnel, under the Yellow River in 110 days.
Spanning two miles and 55.8 feet wide, it was excavated using the largest tunnel boring machine, "Shanhe," at over 59 feet per day.
With 500 pipe rings for support, the six-lane tunnel will connect Jinan’s northern and southern banks by late 2025.
